*Spoiler Alert. This whole post is one big Spoiler.
“Haw haw haw! I have the power of fire! I can feel it coursing through my veins! But it’s not enough! I must defeat you, those who’ve been blessed with the light, to gain the true power of the crystal of fire! Now…die!”
Gutsco is a Thief that is chasing the Horns of Ice. He actually steals one and the Warriors of Light give chase. Once the Warriors of Light defeat Gutsco, he turns into a shadow, and follows the party to the Dwarven Hallows, where he steals both of the Horns of Ice.
After that The Warriors of Light follow him into the Molten Cave, straight to the Fire Crystal and with the Horns of Ice, he is able to get through the cave, where he obtains the power of the Crystal and turns himself into a Salamander to fight the Warriors of Light one more time.
And, one more time he loses.
And, that is pretty much Gutsco’s whole story.
Looked through Ultimanias and anything else, that could provide us with backstory, and there is nothing. Nothing at all.
