Weekly Roundup

What’s been going on this week?

It seems like it’s been an off week here. Can’t explain it, but we’re starting to move again. Well I am, my body was aching all week, and now I’m starting to feel back to normal. And, now it’s time to start getting ready for Hidden Legends.

Spoilers will start be released left and right, and before you know it, it’ll be time for Midnight PreRelease. We’ll have more information on that a little later. Probably a week or two, but you probably already know what it’s going to say.

We got ourselves a bunch of Sports Cards.

Not planning on fully going in that direction, but when you find a great deal, you have to take it. That means we got ourselves an account on Buysportscards.com and, we’re slowly filling it up with our inventory. Stay tuned for more info on that as well.

Rest assured though that Final Fantasy will always be our main thing.

Hidden Trials Pre-Release Kits Now Available

Did we forget to mention this?

Hidden Trials Midnight Pre-Release has come and gone, and we still have some leftovers. Yes, these are better than Thanksgiving leftovers. Lightning has not been found, so your chances are as good as anyone’s.

Almost Forgot the Title

June is here, the Purge is complete, for the most part. Only the Boss Deck cards are still on the site, but those should be gone soon as well.

It’s time to slowly, very slowly, start getting ready for the next Trial. Hidden Trials is just a couple months away, and the Spoilers should be starting up. I wouldn’t be surprised if the first Spoiler came out tomorrow. As we’re about 8 weeks away from Pre-Release. Speaking of Pre-Release, Midnight Pre-Release will be held once again. We’ll have details for that coming up as well. But, if you have already been to a Midnight Pre-Release you already know all of the details.

We’re also thinking about holding a free play night once a week. We’ve been thinking about it for quite some time now. Wednesdays seem like a good night. The plan is for it to start at 9PM every Wednesday, if there’s enough people we can hold a little tournament, if not it will all be just casual.

Not much else going on right now. Other than sorting. Lots and lots of sorting, after that it’s listing, and shipping, and buying more cards to sort.

Hidden Hope Midnight Pre-Release

It’s that time again.

Time to find that Hidden Hope.

And, we know just where it is.

We’ll help you find it, at our Upcoming Midnight Pre-Release. It’s about 2 weeks away and we couldn’t be more excited. We have the Sephiroth chase card with the golden signature that everyone will be looking for. Why not try your luck and see if you’ll get it in the kit you’ll open for the tournament.

Let’s just get straight to it.

March 15th, 2024 is the date we’re looking at. Same Kardboard time, same Kardboard channel. And, if you’re not too familiar, we’ll give you all the details as well.

It’s at 9229 S. Cicero, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.

Time? You can show up any time you’d like after 10PM for casuals while we wait for the clock to strike midnight. At Midnight, hence the Midnight Pre-Release, we will start handing out the kits, and getting ready for the tournament.

It will be $45 for the first kit, which also includes the fee for the tournament. After that, all additional kits will be $40 for the rest of the night.

If you come out in First place, you’ll walk away with another Pre-Release Kit.

Second Place is 5 packs, and either the sleeves or the Promo card

Third Place, 4 packs and what Second place didn’t pick.

Fourth place is 3 packs.

And everyone else will receive a pack as well.

Beyond Destiny Midnight PreRelease

It’s just around the corner. The moment you’ve been waiting for.

Kardboard Korner, that’s who. We’re holding our Prerelease event as usual.

What?

Prerelease? Midnight Prerelease to be exact. We’ve been doing this for a couple of years now. You can come by and hopefully you’ll win an extra kit at the end of the night.

When?

Same Kardboard Time
Friday, November, 10th 2023

You can come in at 10PM and play some casual games while we wait for the clock to strike midnight.

At midnight we will start handing out the kits. We usually start around 12:30

How?

Simple just show up, and we’ll have everything set up.

Price for kit and entry to the tournament will be $45

After that each additional kit will be $40

Everyone will walk away with something. Plus, we’ll have plenty of extra FFTCG product on hand.
