Toy Con Toy Show Super Hero Weekend

What’s everyone doing on April 6th?

We will be heading to the Toy Con Toy Show once again.

Superhero Weekend!

Get your comic book hero comics and toys at our special 2-day show! New toy vendors both days!

It’s always a fun time there, plenty of toys, comics, video games, and since we’ll be there plenty of Final Fantasy TCG, and trading cards.

It’s a monthly Toy Show. And, we’ll just copy what was on there website. They do a better job than I would.

“For 30 years, our show has brought equity and fun to collectors, families and the Bridgeview community. The Toy Con Toy Show offers patrons access to dozens of toy, comic and collectible vendors with merchandise from all eras and genres. Toy Con also sponsors charities through fundraisers held at select shows, such as The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation.”

Tears of the Planet Midnight Pre-Release

Now that it’s March, it’s time to announce Tears of the Planet Midnight Pre-Release!

Here we go with the Who? What? Where? When? and How?

Who?

Kardboard Korner, that’s who! And, if you don’t know, now you know.

What?

Tears of the Planet Midnight Prerelease. It’s your first chance to crack some packs of the new Fina Fantasy TCG Set. Plus, you’ll have a chance to get the very rare Aerith Gold Stamped Signature card.

Where?

Same place as always.

When?

March 21st, 2025

The Event will start at Midnight, but you can start showing up around 10PM for some Casual Play or to learn the game if it’s your first time playing.

And, don’t forget you might be able to win a kit.

How?

Simple, come out in first place and you will win a Pre-Release Kit. Even if you don’t win, everyone will walk away with something. We have prizes for the top 4, and then everyone else gets a free pack.

It’ll be $45 for the first kit and entry into the tournament.
Additional Kits will be sold for $40.

Midnight Pre-Release Postponed

Well, this sucks.

Midnight Prerelease is postponed until further notice.

There seems to be a Nationwide delay on Hidden Legends. We’re not cancelling anything, we’re just waiting for the Kits to come to us.

The only thing that this means is that, we won’t be waiting until Midnight to hand out the kits. Unless everyone wants to wait until Midnight, then we’ll have a party!

We’ll keep you updated as we get more info.

Hidden Legends Midnight Pre-Release

Shop for Singles and more at our TCG Player store.

It’s that time once again. Hidden Legends is just around the Korner.

That means that the Hidden Legends Midnight Pre-Release is almost here as well. We’re looking at Friday, November, 8th. Technically November, 9th. Just because we will start handing out the Pre-Release Kits for the event at 12AM.

And as usual, we will be giving out an extra kit to the winner. That means you’ll have 2 chances at pulling that Clive Gold Stamped Signature Full Art. (That’s a mouthful.) Even if you don’t win, you’ll still walk away with something.

2nd and 3rd will split a kit.
4th will receive 3 packs.
5th-8th will each receive a pack each.

The event starts at 12AM, but you can show up from 10PM for free play. Casuals and not just for FFTCG, if you want to play Magic, go ahead. Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, anything you’d like.

We’ll just leave you with an address here. And, we’ll see you in about a month’s time.
