Restock Quest

We are officially back on track, and the Restock Quest is in full swing once again!

If you’ve been keeping an eye on our TCG Player and eBay stores lately, you might have noticed that Opus I is completely done and loaded! Some of you clearly saw it hitting the inventory, because a handful of those cards didn’t even last a single day on the shelves before getting snagged. That’s always an awesome sight to see—now we just have to repeat the process for the rest of the sets until the whole quest is complete.

📦 The 35,000 Card Vault Has Arrived

This next stretch of the quest is going to take a bit of time. Right after the release of Blissful Eternity, we took delivery of a massive 35,000-card collection.

We are talking about cards spanning all the way from Opus I through Dreamlike Oceans, along with plenty of Legacy Collection gems sprinkled throughout. If you’ve been hunting for a specific single to complete a binder set or finish a deck build, chances are high it’s sitting in this pile. 🗄️ Office Remodel & The Great Non-FFTCG Bulk Clearance

To keep up with all this inventory without losing our minds, we are currently in the middle of remodeling the Kardboard Korner office space.

We brought in new storage cabinets and drawer systems to make our pull-and-pack fulfillment process way faster and cleaner. Along with the makeover, we’re doing some serious inventory downsizing—specifically for everything that isn’t Final Fantasy TCG. We need to clear out physical room for our main focus, which means we will be selling off our extra non-FFTCG bulk very soon. One shop’s space constraint is another player’s treasure, so stay tuned if you’re looking to pick up cheap bulk lots!

⚔️ Mark Your Calendars: Next Event Set for October 23rd!

After how well our first Win-a-Box Event went at Mr. Gyros, we are officially locking in our next tournament date for Friday, October 23rd!

The timing works out great: the brand-new FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward Starter Set drops on October 9th, giving you a couple of weeks to pick up the deck, get familiar with the new Ice & Lightning mechanics, and test those fresh cards out in actual competition with us.

Win-A-Box! Blissful Eternity

Are you ready?

It’s time for us to host our very first Win-a-Box Event. Honestly, looking back on it, I have no idea why we haven’t done this sooner!

We finally found an open slot on the schedule, and we are locking it in for this Friday. We’re also switching things up from our usual late-night schedule—instead of our signature midnight kickoff, we are starting a lot earlier. We’re looking at an official start time of 10:00 PM.

And yes, we are taking over our usual haunt at Mr. Gyros once again!

🎁 The Grand Prize & Prizing Structure

What’s up for grabs? First place takes home a full, sealed Blissful Eternity Booster Box.

If you’ve been to any of our events, you already know the golden rule: nobody walks away empty-handed from Kardboard Korner. Even if you have a rough night and place dead last, you’ll still walk out the door with at least 3 booster packs in hand just for coming out and playing.

Is that all? Of course not.

We are firing off this tournament with a minimum of 4 players. To make things even sweeter, we will be adding another full Booster Box to the prize pool for every 3 additional players that show up! The bigger the crowd, the more packs our runners-up get to crack open.

It’s that time again. Midnight PreRelease!

Gunslinger in the Abyss will be here before you know it. Are you ready? Are you ready to try your luck and win a Prerelease Kit? Well let’s get straight to the details.

What?

Gunslinger in the Abyss Midnight Prerelease. It’s your first chance to crack some packs of the new Fina Fantasy TCG Set. Plus, you’ll have a chance to get the very rare Bartz Gold Stamped Signature card. I don’ know why they didn’t just put Vincent on the Gold Stamped card.

The Event will start at Midnight, but you can start showing up around 10PM for some Casual Play or to learn the game if it’s your first time playing.

And, don’t forget you might be able to win a kit.

How?

Simple, come out in first place and you will win a Pre-Release Kit. Even if you don’t win, everyone will walk away with something. We have prizes for the top 4, and then everyone else gets a free pack.

It’ll be $45 for the first kit and entry into the tournament.

Additional Kits will be sold for $40.

Tears of the Planet Prerelease Kits and Delays

As of this moment, we will have to postpone our Tears of the Planet midnight Pre-Release, due to logistics.

Our distributor hasn’t received the kits as of today, meaning that if they don’t make it tomorrow, we will not be getting them on time for the event.

We’ll still try and do whatever we can to get Midnight Pre-Release for this Friday. As soon as we get any info, on if we will be able to get the kits we will hold it on the 21st as planned. Check back on Friday morning and we’ll know for sure if we’re holding Midnight Pre-Release this week or next.
