Vacation Time Is Over

Not that we actually went on vacation, but the site was on the back burner with everything that was going on. Let’s get a recap to what was going on.

First things first, was the Emissaries of Light Release event we had on April, 15th. We had a better turn out than what we were expecting. We started around midnight, and when everything was said and done the clock had struck 4AM. Everyone that managed to stay till the end, ended up winning. Just because, you can’t win if you’re not there.

The element reviews will return, once i get a chance to finish them.

Game Knight Chicago’s Pokemon Tournament also had a good turn out. 24 participants showed up to take on the $1,000 prize pool. And, we were there to cheer them on. Sort of. I was waiting for the winner to come by a Neo Genesis 1st Edition Feraligatr from me. Which they didn’t. Maybe the next one.

We got a busy month ahead of us once again. Stay tuned.

April Showers, Brings May Pokemon Cards

We got another Pop-Up this Sunday. Combined with a Pokemon Tournament, and Super Smash Bros. Tournament as well.

We will be there with with a booth once again.

Even if you don’t play, there will be plenty of Vendors there. Including us. We’ll be there, on hand, selling the cards you all love. Or something like that.

“When Zidane enters the field or attacks, your opponent removes the top card of their deck from the game. You can cast it as though you owned it at any time you could normally cast it. The cost for casting it can be paid using CP of any Element.

When Zidane enters the field, if you have cast 3 or more cards this turn, Zidane gains Haste until the end of the turn.”

Lani here… I mean Zidane, is a beefed up version of Lani from several Opuses? (Opi?) ago. Which gives you the chance to play your opponents cards. You don’t even need to worry about what element it is, because Zidane allows you to play it with any element.

Lani and Zidane should make an interesting Tag Team here, now that you have 2 ways to use your opponents cards against him.

This would be a perfect card for Bismarck, Lord of the Mists, as you will be bouncing Zidane back to your hand, Just to play him again and again.

And, again.

It seams like I keep mentioning Bismarck. Maybe it’s time I made a deck with the Lord of the Mists.

How?

It’s simple. Come on down and enter our Pre-Release Event on April, 15th and if you win, you’ll win a Booster Box, and bragging rights of course.

2nd Prize – Prerelease Kit
3rd Prize – Your choice of Starter Set from what is available on hand.

Everybody else will get a Booster Pack of Emissaries of Light.

It will be Double Elimination Draft.

You’ll be drafting your kit, and after that you’ll need to be the last one standing after everyone else has lost 2 matches.

Entry fee which includes the Pre-Release kit will be $45
After that the rest of the kits will be $40 and Booster Boxes $100.

When?

April 15th, as mentioned above. You can come in around 10PM. You can play a couple of casual games while we get everything set up. Tournament will start at Midnight.

Toy Con Toy Show – Superhero Weekend

Next show is lined up. And, we know you’re as excited as we are. Toy Con Toy Show, Super Hero Weekend. And, it’s right around the corner, or should we say Korner. It’s a 2 day show, but all the vendors will be different for each day. If you have to choose, we’d recommend coming in on Sunday, cause that’s the day that we will be there.

Early Admission – $7.00

Get in 30 minutes early before the general public. Covers the cost of 1 patron. Rate applies to children over the age of 10. Subject to availability.

Children 10 & Under – Free

Children 10 years and under are always free with a paid adult admission. Children must be supervised at times.
