Behind the Wol

Wol’s Job is Wod.

Wol
5CP – Wind
Forward
Job – Warrior of Dawn
Category – Mobius
Legend
9000 Power

“The cost required to cast Wol is reduced by 1 for each Character of cost 5 or more you control (it cannot become 0).
The Forwards of cost 5 or more other than Wol you control gain “This Forward cannot be chosen by your opponent’s Summons or abilities.”

When you cast a Character of cost 5 or more, draw 1 card. This effect will trigger only once per turn.”

If you ever needed a reason to build a high cost deck, now you have one. Wol here will give you a chance to draw a card for every Character of 5CP or more that you play. In other words you’re just paying 2CP less than what you normally would have paid.

And, all these high cost Forwards will have some protection added on to them if Wol is on the field.

You already have a couple of Backups that will search for Wol. Echo (10-047R) and Mog (MOBIUS) (5-093C). Echo searches when she enters the field and Mog, when he is put into the Break Zone.

Your best bet, would be to play a bunch of 5 cost Forwards. That way you will be managing your CP efficiently. Probably not, but it makes sense in my head. There are currently 168 5CP Forwards. 42 of them are Legends and only 1 is Wind. The other one is Wind/Lightning

I doubt we’ll be playing Golbez, so let’s just take a look at Bismarck, Lord of the Mists. There should be a combo somewhere about playing Bismarck, and activating all your Backups with the card that you will be recycling at the end of your turn.

Delays, and More Delays

Still, no date in sight.

Even though they were scheduled to be released in February. The FFX Custom Starter Sets are no where to be seen. But, that doesn’t mean that I won’t get a call in the next 5 minutes telling me that they have just arrived to the distribution company.

What does this tell me?

I’m guessing that Emissaries of Light will also be delayed further than the previous stated dates. I hope I’m wrong and they show up as planned, because it’s hard to plan Release Events when you don’t know when the product will arrive.

Clemens’ Chronicle

One of the few Final Fantasy games I haven’t played yet. But, I think that Luso, was a better main character than Mont.

Luso – 16-020L
Forward
Clan Gully Member
FFTA2
Legend
5000 Power

“At the beginning of the Attack Phase during each of your turns, if you have received 5 points of damage or less, shuffle your deck, then reveal the top card of your deck. If it is a Fire Character you may play it onto the field.

Damage 6 – At the beginning of the Attack Phase during each of your turns you may search for 1 Fire Character and play it onto the field.”

Add Luso to any Mono-Fire deck and make it instantly better. Sure, Luso doesn’t have a lot of Power but that’s easily fixed by Lebraeu, and a Lava Spider.

Luso, is currently only searchable by, Cid of Clan Gully (5-103R). There might be another card in this set, but we don’t know about it yet.

Play Luso in a Mono-Fire deck as early as you can. The 6CP cost will pay you back constantly as long as you can keep Luso on the field. You might even want to consider taking a Mulligan, if you don’t pull Luso in your opening hand.

Community Market Pop-Up

There is another Pop-Up on the way. And yes, we will have a booth there once again. Same place as before. I believe this one will have a little bit of everything, but there will be tables setup for casual play once again.
