Journey of Discovery Midnight Pre-Release

It’s that time again, Champions! The air is electric, the packs are prepped, and the biggest TCG night of the season is just around the corner. Get ready to embark on a Journey of Discovery—the newest Final Fantasy TCG set is launching at midnight, and Kardboard Korner is hosting the ultimate first-look event!

Event Zero: Crack Packs at Midnight!

Don’t wait a week! This is your official, earliest chance to experience the Journey of Discovery set. You’ll be playing with the brand-new cards and mechanics a full seven days before they hit shelves.

The official release is November 14th, 2025, but our event kicks off at Midnight on November 8th, 2025.

The Hunt for the Gold-Stamped Signature

Every pack you open at the Prerelease is a shot at a legendary pull. This set features the ultra-rare Terra Gold Stamped Signature card! This highly sought-after collectible is signed by the artist, and pulling it is the ultimate discovery. It’s a chase card that turns a great night into an unforgettable one.

I didn’t feel like going through the Magic Bulk today. So, I restocked Opus XIX – From Nightmares on TCG Player and eBay. I just had to look at something different today. I’m surprised how much some of these cards went up. That’s what we like to call Supply and Demand, and there sure was demand for them, cause some of those singles are already out the door.

But, I finished with that fairly quick, so I started sorting MTG Bulk. I just can’t get away from them sometimes, and other times, I can’t get any. It’s always like that, you either have too much or too little. I prefer too much, that way it’ll keep me busy for days to come.

Also listed some MTG Bulk lots on eBay. Might get some on here as well.

I tried organizing the office again, that will always be a work in progress.

Start of the week, so let’s get our Monday work done. That includes our Weekend in Review, and the Card of the Day, for Instagram and Facebook.

After that, we got down to do our MTG Bulk. went through 2015 and 2016 today, lots of cards listed on TCG Player, and lots of cards for our bulk lots, that should be going up tomorrow or today, depending on when you read this.

I had to start organizing the office again. Especially since Journey of Discovery is right around the Korner. Speaking of which, that means Midnight Pre-Release is right around the Korner as well. And, you know what that means. You’ll have a chance to win a Prerelease Kit, simply by showing up and joining Prerelease.

10/24

You’ll never guess what we did today!

That’s right. MTG Bulk!

It’s not as exciting as it sounds, but we went through a bit today.

Also had to run around quite a bit for the restaurant.

And, that was about it for today.

No more Soccer for the kids.

Weekends are back to normal now. Should be about time for me to start heading back to the Flea Markets.

I miss going, it’s always the thrill of the hunt, and you never know when you’ll find some rare cards just sitting there.

And, video games as well.

I was beat.

Hardly got any sleep this weekend.

Just sorted cards today.

Tried watching Chicago Fire’s match today, but I was trying to install Apple TV and get the MLS Season pass,through T-Mobile Tuesdays, but it’s such a hassle, and in the end, I never even got it.

Picked up dinner, played some 99 Nights in the Forest with my kids, and called it a day.

Not much going on today.

Just the usual going through the MTG Bulk that we got.

Spent most of the day doing some running around.

Only notable thing that happened is that we got past 99 nights in 99 Nights in the Forest. My son was excited. Every day we went past it, he would go around the house telling everyone, we’re on day 100! We’re on day 108! We’re on day 116! and then we died.

I had some interest in Gundam Card Game. I tried looking into it but it seems like my distributor does not carry it. I might have to look into it a little more. I hear there’s demand for it.
