Update to 2.0, 95% Complete.

And we are almost done just in time for Dawn of Heroes.

For the time being we will be removing all singles from the website that are not Final Fantasy TCG. But, fear not, If you want to find the other TCG singles, they will most likely be on TCGPlayer, or eBay. I’ll have a link to them on the side somewhere.

And, you all missed out on some great deals. I hadn’t updated the prices in quite a while and you could have gotten Sara 13-093H for a whopping 50 cents or $0.50.

I don’t know hoe some of you could have missed that. I know if I would have seen it I would have picked it up.

Now, we only have From Nightmares left, which should be done very soon, although I don’t think there will be much updating to that set. After that it will be full force for Dawn of Heroes.

Setting up the site, writing my opinions on the cards, and getting ready for Midnight Pre-Release. Which will be our first taste of Dawn of Heroes, because we did not get a Starter Set this time around. Which means I have one less article to write, but since we usually get 130-140 cards, it’ll still be the same amount of cards for me.

And. Speaking of midnight PreRelease, unless we get a delay on the release, it will be on July, 21st. More details will be coming soon. But, keep that night open. We get a good crowd, and we have a great time.

I Need a Title Here

We’re slowly chugging along on this updating the site. Currently working on Opus XIII, and things are going a lot smoother and faster than we thought it would. Hopefully we’ll have this all done by the time Dawn of Heroes comes out.

It would have been a lot faster, but since I’m doing the Site, TCGPlayer, and eBay all at the same time, it takes longer. You can blame eBay for that.

Other than that there’s not much going on as usual.

2 exciting things happened.

One of my keys fell off on this old laptop, and I had to figure out how to put it back together. Couple of videos later and I was able to get it back in. The hardest part was finding the right video for the right laptop. Having a laptop from 2009 didn’t help either.

The other … well I don’t know how exciting it was, but it was interesting. There was a man standing outside my window, picking his nose and eating his boogers. Yes, that was the highlight of that day. It was yesterday, actually.

Plus, I just saw Card of the Week Previews are back on the Square Enix Site. That must mean that Dawn of Heroes is right around the corner. And if Dawn of Heroes is right around the corner, that means Midnight PreRelease will soon be upon us.

Stay tuned for details.

Midnight Pre-Release

With the Final Fantasy XIII Custom Starter Set coming out this week, that means we have the From Nightmares Midnight Pre-Release closer than we thought. Less than a month away. March, 18th 2023.

If you ask us we believe this set will be one for the record books. We’re already sold out of Booster Boxes, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to try and get more. That Cloud Signature card is a collector’s dream, especially if you look at what Yuffie has been doing. But, back to the Midnight Pre-Release.

March 18th @ 12AM we will be handing out the kits for the tournament.

You’ll be able to come in early to play some casuals and hang out as we count down to 12AM. It’ll be like New Year’s Eve, but better.

It’ll be $45 to enter the tournament. Which will get you your first kit. After that the Kits will be $40 each.

Everyone will walk away with something. So, make your plans and come try and pull a Cloud Signature before everyone else.
Details on prizing will be up soon.

Midnight Pre-Release : Resurgence of Power

Resurgence of Power is just around the corner. You may or may not have seen the cards yet. I haven’t seen all of them, but we did get a chance to check them out at last night’s Midnight Pre-Release.

A new mechanic came into play, called Warp. You pay the cost which is 2CP. I haven’t seen any that are more than that. You remove the card from the game, and then depending on the number, I’ve seen 2-5 you wait that many turns before you play it onto the field. You’ll ask, why not just play it onto the field in the first place? The answer is, that the Warp cost is significantly lower than the play cost. You can play a 9CP character for 2CP if you’re willing to wait before it comes into play.

Now your opponent can see the card, and when it warps, they’ll be able to respond to the card being played.

For some reason I decided to build a 6 element deck, Which did not work as planned. I thought having Cait Sith (XI), which let’s you pay CP for any element at 3 points of Damage. But, but by the time that I had 3 points of damage, my front lines were almost as good as a wet paper bag. I stood no chance in winning. The only time I was getting the cards I needed was when we were playing a casual match.

If you’d like to grab a kit look no further as we have them up on the site already.
