Journey of Discovery Midnight Pre-Release

It’s that time again, Champions! The air is electric, the packs are prepped, and the biggest TCG night of the season is just around the corner. Get ready to embark on a Journey of Discovery—the newest Final Fantasy TCG set is launching at midnight, and Kardboard Korner is hosting the ultimate first-look event!

Event Zero: Crack Packs at Midnight!

Don’t wait a week! This is your official, earliest chance to experience the Journey of Discovery set. You’ll be playing with the brand-new cards and mechanics a full seven days before they hit shelves.

The official release is November 14th, 2025, but our event kicks off at Midnight on November 8th, 2025.

The Hunt for the Gold-Stamped Signature

Every pack you open at the Prerelease is a shot at a legendary pull. This set features the ultra-rare Terra Gold Stamped Signature card! This highly sought-after collectible is signed by the artist, and pulling it is the ultimate discovery. It’s a chase card that turns a great night into an unforgettable one.

Where and When to Gather

We’re ready to start the party early!

Who: Kardboard Korner, your favorite online shop that loves to host in-person events!
Where: Mr. Gyros (Yes, we’re still hijacking the gyro shop after hours!)

$45 gets you your first kit + tournament entry
Additional kits: $40 each

1st Place: Wins a full Prerelease Kit
2nd and 3rd will split a kit, with 2nd place getting 5 packs and their choice of either the Promo or the sleeves.
4th, 4 Journey of Discovery Booster Packs
Everyone Else: Gets a free pack—because no one leaves empty-handed

Come on out, meet the local community, crack some incredible packs, and maybe—just maybe—find that legendary Terra! We’ll see you at 10 PM to get the party started.

Gunslinger in the Abyss Midnight Prerelease

It’s that time again. Midnight PreRelease!

Gunslinger in the Abyss will be here before you know it. Are you ready? Are you ready to try your luck and win a Prerelease Kit? Well let’s get straight to the details.

Who?

Kardboard Korner, that’s who! And, if you don’t know, now you know.

What?

Gunslinger in the Abyss Midnight Prerelease. It’s your first chance to crack some packs of the new Fina Fantasy TCG Set. Plus, you’ll have a chance to get the very rare Bartz Gold Stamped Signature card. I don’ know why they didn’t just put Vincent on the Gold Stamped card.

Where?

Same place as always.

When?

August 1st, 2025

The Event will start at Midnight, but you can start showing up around 10PM for some Casual Play or to learn the game if it’s your first time playing.

And, don’t forget you might be able to win a kit.

How?

Simple, come out in first place and you will win a Pre-Release Kit. Even if you don’t win, everyone will walk away with something. We have prizes for the top 4, and then everyone else gets a free pack.

It’ll be $45 for the first kit and entry into the tournament.

Additional Kits will be sold for $40.

Toy Con Toy Show – Star Wars Celebration

Just a friendly reminder.

Toy Con Toy Show is this weekend. We will be there on Sunday from 8AM-2PM

We’ll give you the Who? What? Where? When? and How? once again.

Star Wars Celebration!

“Our normal toy show and more! Celebrate the legacy of Star Wars with special raffles! Cosplay encouraged!”

It’s always a fun time there, plenty of toys, comics, video games, and since we’ll be there plenty of Final Fantasy TCG, and trading cards.

It’s a monthly Toy Show. And, we’ll just copy what was on there website. They do a better job than I would.

The Toy Con Toy Show offers patrons access to dozens of toy, comic and collectible vendors with merchandise from all eras and genres. Toy Con also sponsors charities through fundraisers held at select shows, such as The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation.”

We will be heading to the Toy Con Toy Show once again.

Tears of the Planet Prerelease Kits and Delays

As of this moment, we will have to postpone our Tears of the Planet midnight Pre-Release, due to logistics.

Our distributor hasn’t received the kits as of today, meaning that if they don’t make it tomorrow, we will not be getting them on time for the event.

We’ll still try and do whatever we can to get Midnight Pre-Release for this Friday. As soon as we get any info, on if we will be able to get the kits we will hold it on the 21st as planned. Check back on Friday morning and we’ll know for sure if we’re holding Midnight Pre-Release this week or next.
