Weekly Update 09/21/2026

We are officially putting a bow on Opus II today!

All that’s left on the checklist is listing a fresh batch of Lightly Played (LP) singles over on our eBay store. Honestly, given how fast Opus I vanished, those LP cards might already be sold out by the time you’re even reading this update. If you missed out, keep your eyes on the site—we’re jumping straight into the next leg of the quest.

🤹 The Balancing Act: Busy Is an Understatement

If things feel like they’re moving just a little bit slower around here lately, it’s because we’ve officially stacked our plates as high as they’ll go:

  1. Sifting through that mammoth 35,000-card collection drop.

  2. Undergoing a complete office and storage workspace overhaul.

  3. Coaching the kids on the soccer field every week.

It’s a lot of moving parts all at once, but standing still isn’t in our DNA. We’d much rather be running full speed ahead than sitting around waiting for things to happen!

🧠 Work Smarter, Not Harder: The Bulk Strategy

Why is processing this 35k stack taking a bit of extra time? Simple: we refuse to do the work twice.

Since we’re actively downsizing non-FFTCG inventory and clearing out physical space, we’re being super methodical about storage. The last thing we want to do is pack 5,000 cards into a new set of storage drawers, only to turn around next week, pull them all back out to make room for proper set inventory, and end up with a mountain of bulk boxes cluttering the floor all over again.

We’re taking the extra time now to sort, purge, and organize everything right the first time. That way, once a drawer is filled, it stays filled with exactly what you’re looking for when you order.

Fun Filled Weekend

We just had a long weekend, and with no plans of doing anything, we decided to remodel and reorganize. The whole office. We started Sunday morning, and got most of it done by Monday night. Now it’s almost to where I want it to be. Just have to organize all of the bulk again. But, this won’t be the first or the last time we’ll have to sort the bulk. As new bulk comes in we have to sort it, and place it with our existing inventory.

It’s a fun process.

Put some music on, grab a beverage and go through the bulk. Always hoping that we’ll find a diamond. Sometimes we do, sometimes we don’t, but we always find a couple of rare cards.

Then it was off to getting everything ready to be tracked, and I hod one item that no matter what I tried, I could not get my shipping label printed. I had been trying for 2 days when I finally decided to contact eBay.

They looked into it and finally told me, that their stamps can not be used to send cards to P.O. Boxes. So, I did what any one would do. I wrote the address on the envelope and stuck a Forever Stamp on it, and sent it on it’s merry way.

And, that is how we spent our weekend.

Sorta Sorting

Slowly going through bulk. I’ve had some Magic the Gathering bulk just sitting in boxes. Kardboard boxes that is. And then I bought another bulk lot. I started slowly going through them, listing them on TCGPlayer.com and eBay. (I still need to post a link to those 2. Soon, it’s on the Back Burner.) Some of you have come here through those sites.

I forgot where I was going with this.

I thought I had a point to share.

I’m enjoying it for the most part. I didn’t like going through Fallen Empires though. Different art for the same cards, and back with Fallen Empires there were no numbers on the cards. I would be sorting by name, not paying too much attention to the artwork, and then I would sort them again by art.

That was the process.

I am now starting on Guildpact. A couple hundred cards. Mostly Commons I think a saw a rare somewhere. I let you know on Instagram if it’s anything special.

Now, as we’ve been accumulating a lot of bulk. FFTCG, MTG, Pokemon, some Digimon and some other games as well, but not enough to mention. We’ve been toying with selling Bulk lots of played cards. Small and Large lots. If it’s something you’d be interested in, drop us a line and let us know.
